On behalf of UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and USC Keck School of Medicine, we would like to formally announce and invite you to the 2022 Minority Health Conference: Turning Advocacy Into Action, to be held Saturday, September 24th at UCLA-DGSOM.

This year’s theme is Turning Advocacy Into Action with a specific focus on Health Literacy and Housing Insecurity. We are excited to hear from a range of speakers, including an Opening Keynote presented by Sharon Brown, Chief Impact Officer for the Los Angeles LGBT Center, and Closing Keynote presented by Kristina Dixon, Acting Co-Executive Director/Chief Financial and Administration Officer for the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA)!

Admission to the conference is free but we do ask that you register at our Eventbrite, where you can also find more information about the event. Parking and lunch will be provided, and attendees will have a chance to win an Amazon Gift Card!

Wherever you are in your path to medicine, we know you care about finding tangible ways to improve healthcare in your communities and build a more healthy, equitable tomorrow. Join us at the 2022 Minority Health Conference to help us answer these questions.
